* The question of irrecoverable government debt to foreign nations due to national and international causes.

1st Commission(Human Rights)

* Addressing the growing incidence of child soldiers, child labour and sale of children.
* Combating contemporary forms of racism, racial dscrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance.

2nd Commission(Enviroment)

* Illicit trafficking of flora and fauna across international borders.
* Agricultural development and food security.

1st Committee

* Transparency and confidence building measures in arms manufacture and trade.
* Renewed determination towards the total elimination of weapons of mass destruction.

2nd Committee

* Promoting development in the context of globalization and interdependence.
